Ms. Bechtold is a respected and established professional who passionately serves as an “Accountability Partner” to her coaching, counseling, and consulting clients. She brings a wealth of experience as a trained professional coach, certified MBTI administrator, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Nationally Certified Gambling Counselor and a former graduate faculty member of the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work. Jody is a recognized expert on Gambling & Substance Addiction. She has been interviewed by WPXI TV, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and others and has prepared and delivered dozens of key-note addresses and workshops on topics including Gambling, Problem Gambling and Gambling and Older Adults. Jody also developed, recorded, and published web and journal based white papers, podcasts and other training courses. In March 2011, she received the “Person of the Year” award from the PA Council on Compulsive Gambling for her work in prevention, education, and training, and clinical practice in the field of gambling addiction. Jody holds a Master Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work, a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh’s College of Business Administration, and is a graduate of the Professional Coaching Certification Program at Duquesne University’s School of Leadership and Professional Advancement. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania and a Level II Nationally Certified Gambling Counselor (NCGC-II) and a Board Approved Clinical Consultant (BACC) with the International Gambling Counselor Certification Board (IGCCB). She also earned her Associate Certified Coach (ACC) in 2012 through the International Coaches Federation.
